1.71 Save Game Crash

Ack, 1.70 was running fine for me; I installed 1.71, and now everytime I try to load a Save Game file (mine, any of the autosaves, etc...) I get this; click OK and the game continues to load, but crashes out to the Matrix menu at the last moment:

I just tried and all my saves work without any problems. Anyone else having the above problem?

reinstalled, saves worked fine, then I put the patch in and saved, tried to load and got the ugly corrupt save file screen
patch seems to be crashing saved files, not old files trying to reopen either but brand new save files with a clean install.

I'm happy to report the problem seems fixed in the offical 1.75 patch.
