[&:] I was directed to this forum to maybe get an answer to the following:



The problem I have with StarShatter TGS, is that I cannot get the 5.0.1 Update to work!!! I download it to my StarShatter Folder and then run it. It unzips the filles and places them in the folder, but when I go back to the Icon on my desktop to start the program it still loads as 5.0.0. Am I doing something wrong? I have tried to load it several ways and sometimes I get an error that says "The original program was loaded incorrectly or you have an invalid key"

Jeffcee52, I had the same problem. For some reason the new .exe file has a different name then the old one, so it will not overwrite the old one when you unzip it to the Starshatter folder. I fixed it by renaming the new .exe file. Go into the main Starshatter folder. You will find 2 exe files that look like the Starshatter launch icon. One is called Starshatter-TheGatheringStorm this is the original for 5.0 the new one for 5.1 is called Stars. I just renamed the old file Starshatter-TheGatheringStorm5.0 and renamed Stars to Starshatter-TheGatheringStorm. If you have any problems you can delete the new file and just change the old file back by removing the 5.0 you added. Hope this helps.
