possible to add career stats to new league?

I recall reading at one time that it was possible to add career stats to players when starting a new league. For instance, I have a league from another sim game that I would like to port over to MF. I will accomplish this by manually editing all the players, but I would like to also add two years of stats that were generated using the other game. I have no problem hand keying this in to an access database or using the in-game editor, but I was wondering if this would even be possible?
I should mention that I do not currently own the game, but am considering purchasing it during the holiday discount period.
Any and all insight / comments welcomed!

I don't think the data is stored in any access tables

I asked this way back when on the old board, and as I recall, David stated the files would be open to modify, although the game does not come with an editor for that.
The files are stored, but I have not tried to edit them.
Perhaps we need some confirmation on this.

I think it would be very difficult to import stats from other games into this one. Yes, they are kept in a database file that is unlocked, but they're stored in a format that is not intended to be human readable or editable. They're stored in a format that is designed to be quickly worked with by game code during game execution.

David , I have a question about editing the players in your database....Is there a way that I can globally edit the weight and speed of all OL in the free agent pool prior to the draft. I am trying to make the weight of the OL 285-335 Lbs.( Sorry posted wrong spot)
