Does this game still hold up compared to Divided? Also, I can't find this game available for purchase anywhere, not even on this site.

Yeah, it's strange. I got it with a magazine for the Polish equivalent of $3 But unfortunately it seems that all readers got the same serial code so I'm not eligible for the "A World Divided" discount.
I wondered about this question myself. I've started playing WaW only recently and I think it's a good game. I looked at the "A World Divided"'s feature list here and some of the features at the bottom seem to be worthwile additions. Also, WaW only has 4 scenarios, but some of them are really long and replayable as you can choose any side you want.
So, speaking as someone who didn't play "A World Divided": WaW is a good game on its own. Perfect as a bargain bin buy.

The AI really sucks bad in this game. Real bad.
