CTD After intro

Got a new computer for Christmas and now when I fire up TOAW I get a standard issue Microsoft error report after the first two introduction movies play. I've tried reinstalling, attempting without the patch (not sure what version my base installer is) and with the latest patch. I've also gone through and updated my audio and video drivers (which I was using the Omega Drivers but I switched to the ATI when updating those didn't work). I also tried running with the nosound option and that had no affect.

System Specs
Microsoft Windows XP Pro (All updates applied but otherwise a fresh build)
ASUS A8R32-MVP Motherboard using On-board sound
ATI Radeon X850
3GB of RAM

Try the nointro command-line too, to skip all the movies, just in case one of them is the problem, or you could rename all of them or move them to a separate directory.

That seemed to work. I didn't try playing with the movie files before because I'm using the exact same player/codec setup I had before... wierd.

<chuckle> Unfortunately, it's not something I have much control over. It sounds like the third movie has something about it that your computer doesn't like for some reason. I'm just calling the player, so I don't even have a way to troubleshoot it, I'm afraid.

At least it's working.[;)]
