Missing speed

When doing destroyer "patrol" missions, the Nav points don't have any speed set - it's at 0. Which makes autonav useless until you fiddle around in the nav screen.
This also seemed to happen on a fighter patrol that started in orbit - the first nav point had a speed of 0.
