Run-time error in league creation

I must be a great beta tester . . . or a magnet for problems! I created a 14 team league in the game itself, then exited the game to use the team edit utility (which, I think, is the only way to populate a team [if I don't want to create all the players and just have a random roster]). I was able to create random rosters for 10 of the 14 teams. The other four, when I tried to open the team in the edit utility, I got error: Run-time error '380': Invalid property value. I hit ok, then got error: Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object. The four teams just cannot be opened with the editor, it appears. I went back into the game to see if I could find any common thing, but no such luck. By the way, is there an easier way to have rosters for new teams created than exiting the game and using the team edit utility?

Just start a quickplay game and the teams will get filled. Or you can start a season and if you're not using a first year draft, the cpu will fill the teams.

Thanks, Lucas718, starting the season did the trick - the computer, through the draft, filled the rosters. Unfortunately, when I started to play or simulate, I am not being allowed to do either - I get a MaxFB error message telling me that mandatory plays are missing from my playbook. I am using an 8 man game, with the only eight man playbook available. Any thoughts on why this may not be working? Once I get used to the PDS, as I did with FBPro, I will make a few plays, but I don't really want to create a whole playbook.
