Hi folks,

Has anybody out there come up with a nice Saitek X52 profile for SS: TGS that they'd be willing to share?

Thanks,

CB

Hi
I dont have a profile for you but I do have a question. The game does not seem to detect my Saitek X52 every time. Anyone know a fix for this or having the same problem?

Regardless of whether or not StarShatter recognizes the joystick, it actually should work. I had the same problem with my X52 Pro. For some reason the PC over-wrote the joystick profile in the registry. easy fix was to tell it to use the old profile.

As for making an X52 profile...dunno. Make one that seems to suit you. Something that has easy access to all the functions you normlly use.

One idea would be to make two profiles in one.
On Mode one, you could have all the commands needed for the fighter/bombers.
On Mode two, you could have all the commands for the capital class ships.

I suppose if you felt like it, you could make multiple profiles and accessed them "on-the-fly" via the clutch button. Just activate the "latched clutch" option in the joystick profile. This way you could have multiple profiles for the same game.

If you're experiencing problems in other games, you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the stick and the SST software.
Make sure that you have the latest upgrades from the Saitek site too, it makes a difference.

I hope I helped some.
I don't post often, but when I do I try and make it worthwhile [:D]

Cheers

Thanks for the Info. I did what you suggested, remove and reinstall the drives. Everything seems to be working just fine now.

Much thanks
