Hi,

I'm seriously considering buying this game and am wondering what exactly comes in the retail box. Of course I'd be expecting the CD/DVD but I'm also hoping this comes with a chunky printed manual that I can read and reference, on-disc manuals just don't it for me. £40 GBP is a fair amount to shell out, hence my question

Additionaly to the manual there is also a quick reference card.

See if your video card has pixel shader 2.0 or better. Even 1.5 will do it if you set down the graphics a bit. If its choppy graphics after the tutorial, try setting the texture size down to 512x512, and turning off some other options.

My graphics card has no pixel shader support yet I can still play just fine.

hmm...I ordered mine online and downloaded it, plus asked for the physical copy.  i didn't get the printed manual or reference card   Ah well, I can jump around various windows while setting up my CH profile for the game.

It might not have been available at the time. It's new thing from Matrix to offer manuals on print.

My retail box came with no reference card. The same thing has happeneed to me for another Matrix game actually.

Digital download works for me, plus they have a 2 year guarantee that you can download a copy if you're download gets corrupted.

In my case, i burned my digital download to cdrom-disk, cdrom-disk broke, but i could download a new copy with no hassle. Now that's what i call service.

For the manual, i think they use pdf, but never read them, went direct to settings and looked what keys it uses, also played the tutorial missions, those explain the basics very wel.

Go get it, you will like this game.

You talk of our "physical box" from the e-shop or the official retail box as being sold in brick&mortar stores?
Where did you buy it?
