Im new to the game, playing for the first time. I have western allies transports networked in the atlantic and I want to move some land units in an invasion of spain or western france. The blue strategic error lets me move anywhere except onto the land there. What am I doing wrong? Im getting a red "illegal move". I have not moved the transports this turn. How do I make them attack so I can launch a western front?

Do I need to clear out the german port on the coast of spain before I can amphibiously attack? It seems like I can only send in aircraft, how do I send in my fleet?

thanks.

I noticed it is nearly impossible to take a land zone by amphibious assault. Even with bombers, several battleship and upgraded artillery, all the enemy has to do is make sure at least 2 soldiers and 2 artillery are defending and you can never take the zone, let alone get a couple hits. It seems everything attacks with lower numbers.
The only way I could get some WA into the fight with germany is to go up through turkey.

Also, how do I move fighters and navy fighter airgroups across sea to land on my carriers. It seems they wont move by transport, and if they cant make it in one trip they go into guard mode, then return to the original zone. How do you move them long distances?
