I had a tie for first at the end of the season but can't find a record of the outcome. What happens in this case?

Same thing happened to me. I ended in a first-place tie with another team in my division. The game skipped straight ahead with the other team going to the playoffs. I guess it does a coin toss or something.

The game doesn't do tiebreaking playoff games I'm afraid (that's something that really ought to change at some point IMHO). Shaun has posted in the past how the game determines the winner in end-of-season tie situations but I can't recall the specifics at the moment.

I think I remember Shaun saying the tie breaker was runs scored.
If it is still tied, I think it's Team vs Team record.

This topic seems to come up again and again, and noone ever seems to remember the answer. Whatever the criteria is, it would be nice if there was some sort of pop-up window (or maybe a PSPN article, or both) in these cases that said something like:
"Des Moines and Rockford finish in a tie in the Midwest Division. Rockford advances to the playoffs by virtue of better head-to-head record."

bobsayah, that's a very good idea. The problem is obviously not "how is it resolved", but messaging to the user how it was resolved.
