Well I had a pretty sucessfull mission, taking down 3 cruisers and a destroyer with my shiny new starship. The only problem is that at the end of the mission, the game crashes. The screen goes black after exiting the mission debriefing and I can hear the audio clip playing "Command is very impressed with your performance. At this rate youll be making commander in no time....". After this the game crashes with the following error. I have had this happen twice now and Im guessing its either a ribbon or medal or promotion thats missing a screen or something. I have no idea how to work around this.

Faulting application stars.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module stars.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0009fa75.

Replayed the mission this first time it crashed. Got an identical error. Bummer.....

Destroyed 3 cruisers? But the message says you'll be making commander soon which means you've just become a Lt. Commander. And that means you can't have been in anything more potent than a fighter - so how were you killing so many cruisers?

My apologies. I believe were likely frigates and im not real familiar with ship class designations.. Plus I was up way too late when I posted that [>:]

I guess ill just start a new character and hope it quits crashing..
