I dowloaded PacWar and War in Russia yesterday. WiR works fine. PacWar does not.

When I start it, the program runs through several splash screens, and then a credits screen. Following this, I get a black screen.

I am using Windows NT 4.0. According to the task manager, PacWar is running fine - I just don't see anything.

I get the same result running from a DOS prompt, or by double-clicking directly on the pac.exe file.

There are several threads in this forum, and a few in "Tech support by Gamers for Gamers" forum that already address this problem.

Search them out.

Don't get discouraged it will run on a NT4.0 or Windows 2000 OS, all though there are a few problems with jumbled screens accessing air groups on ships.
