Is there a Battlestar Galactica (the new one not the old one) any where?

I don't believe there is, many different sci-fi series were started, but not all were finished.

Despite that, even those partials are quite good. I think when TGS was announced as coming out many modders put thier projects on the back burner until it's release.

on a side note...
there are a few original mods that were completed in 4.5, most of which were excellent work. Hopefully they return in TGS, I know at least one modder is working on the retro-fit now.

Do you know of any skins? I'd really like to put the Galactica in for the Orion and the Raptor for the LCA and the Viper MkVII for the Stormhawks and the MkII for the other fighter plane. (I can't remember it's name lol)

Actually, I recently was sent a BSG mod which replaced the orion with galactica, and the fighters with vipers/raptors. I'll ask the person who sent it if he doesn't mind me resending it.

Its awesome :p

Also, is there a way to make your quantum drive spin up faster? I've always thought that it was really annoying having too wait for it to spin up before I could jump when I'm searching for carriers that are trying to run from me.

I'm thinkin maybe we should look at combineing our efforts ,as we're re-inventing the wheel,So far toshiro and myself and another fella ,have the raiders,vipers ,galactica,music,awards,splash screens and cockpits already in game.(cockpits are re-do's while a dedicated pit is being built)and toshi has the heavy raider and base star in the works.I also have the new MK5 viper armed and ready to go.

Sounds great, I didn't know there was one in-progress. I'd be more than happy to contribute to it any way I can.

Do you guys have a forum or web site or anything like that? I'm admin on a forum at www.victishonor.com that was formerly a guild forum for a player association in Star Wars: Galaxies which has since dissolved, I'd be happy to host it there or we could put up a new one, there's a free variety of Invision Power Board that's a snap to acquire and set up. Totally free, one ad banner, no popups or anything like that.

Sounds good to me,and I think the other would agree.Have ya got teamspeak?we could yak about the details and then get this puppy movin...we've already got a decent jump on things and could actually start releasing, encourageing others to pitch in and help,having an open development type thing goin could speed things along quite abit.What would really be great ,is if we had some well planned missions and campaigns to accompany the "theme".What I'd also like to see is more of the interface converted over to the BSG motiff to get the feel of the series.As it stands now the size of the modifications all rared up weighs in at about 250 mbs,so we'll diffinately need a place to upload it to.

On a side note ,what I'm really hoping is that this will joggle the DEV's into bring this game to its FULL potential.The possibility of have a fully functioning(Avionics wise) space fighter sim is certainly appealing.BSG is a perfect plateform themeatically and conceptionally.The idea of flying around in a souped up Viper with working avonics is just plain coooool.Agree?

We'll have to open a new server for teamspeak ,so if your capable lemme know and I'll put one up on another computer.

I started one awhile go... but was awaiting the new Magic 2.0 before I did any more for it. Since then I've modeled this as well.

Just an update...toshi's got the Cylon basestar in,and the Crusiers are on the way...I've been messing around on a new class of ship(not sure what it will be) and the viper pits still in production.Heres a concept pic of the ship I'm workin on

There is also the Pegesus,before Lee Adama drove it into a BaseShip that is! Ticked me off,but such is life.

So when can we get some of these mods? I would love to test some of the mods if anyone wants to have them worked out in the game?
