these are correct files posted Jan 26, 2007 for Enhanced DV and DVRN, you should still go get the OOB patch after downloading either DV or DVRN.
[:)]

Here are two links to Enhanced DV and DVRN

http://www.mediafire.com/?3q0gal3nrzf (DV)

http://www.mediafire.com/?5vxmgum1g1y (DVRN)

Links to the "100 fix" OOB patch

DV Patch: http://www.mediafire.com/?ckczzgybh1l

DVRN Patch: http://www.mediafire.com/?fmoyrniznmk

The files are less than 1 meg in size...
Thanks to everyone who helped us find the errors!!
[:)]

How to install the Patch......
Download whichever file you plan to use.....Extract the 28 OOB files inside to somewhere temporary......then you must copy and paste them, or drag them, however you and your particular zip program works, into the existing Mod file you have....
DVRN oobs go into your Enhanced DVRN Mod file, DV OOBs go into Enhanced DV mod File.
It should ask you if you want to overwrite existing files....say YES >>>>

Hello Alby. Could you spare a minute for an ignoramus? Can you make it plain what the difference is between the two versions please?

Many thanks from across the water!

The 'DV' version included OOBs that use 'native' language for many of the units; Finland, Soviet, Yugoslavia, Norway, Germany, Japan, and more. Not all of the OOBs have been 'translated'; some because the alphabets weren't compatible and we couldn't find anyone to give us the 'English-equivalent' (like was done with the Soviet and Japan OOBs), or because we couldn't get the translated words to fit the 15-character name limit.

The 'DVRN' version are the same OOBs, but with most of the 'native' language names put back into English. Some were left for flavour, if the word was decipherable into English (such as 'Mortier' for mortar).

Other than the names, the OOB data is identical between the two versions.

I really like all the new goodies in this latest version of Enhanced!!

Especially like the offical nomenclature names where appropriate.
(Calling the M10 a "Wolverine" was just never right, in the U.S.Army.................)
Patton would shudder and think it a sis kinda thing, I'm sure.[:D]

Okay, so, this is most likely an incredibly stupid question...but what exactly is the Enhanced version of World at War, and how does it differ from the 8.403 version that I've got now?
