not completely validated, this is why, officially, the patch will only goes for release by monday/tuesday. But no problems either if someone want to download it as soon as possible [;)]


edit: the (e) means that this is a sub-version of patch 1.10, with only half a dozen of changes. I don't feel like saying it was 1.11

Pocus provided a changelog that's viewable by clicking on the link furnished by the OP.

It reads:

"UI

Regions are now cached with the same (hopefully improved) system as AACW.

New icons for army waypoints (land move, sea move, final destination)

The battle animation (needle moving back and forth) can be disabled or the delay changed in the Options|Display window.

AI

AI will be more prudent when it comes to split artilleries and supplies.
AI will resupply better.


Gameplay

Units will only retreat into a city/fort if the special order "enter destination structure" is activated.

The artillerist trait now gives a bonus in siege (by boosting slightly the artillery value. Siege leaders are still more potent though)

A force with an unactivated leader can't sortie.

Some inconsistancies around city capture have been fixed.

The command penalty can't go above 5% per missing command point. It means than small, uncommanded forces, don't get the -50% penalty now.

Retreating into a city/fort won't prevent you from being attacked again in the same turn.

Attack delay (commiting unit), new game rule from AACW, retrofited as an option in BOA (Options|Gameplay, default is ON):
Units won't necessarly engage the enemy as soon as they are in the same region as him (the posture rule still apply, if both are on defence, neither will engage fight anyway). A delay can occurs, ranging from a single hour to several days. The chance to engage the enemy depends of:

a) if a leader is present or not (strategic rating)
b) if some of your units are already commited.

If a fight is already taking place, the delay is usually from 0 to 3 hours. If the fight has not started, several days is not unusual.


nb: This patch has been tested by the beta, but as they are more focused on the ACW game, a bug or two can remains. In this case: support@ageod.com for a quick demise of the critter.

the battle report has a tendency to label too often a battle as a draw (but this is just a label, it don't changes any results). No biggy but I will update the patch monday.

Sage, Pocus said it was compatible on the other forum, so, yes it is.[:)]
