Spike the guns and burn the wagons!

Playing the F&I long scenario, I made an ill-advised naval landing on Quebec. Some of my transports were destroyed, and in order to properly advance to the rear for strategic redeployment (aka run like little girls), I had to leave my artillery and suppy waggons... for the enemy to capture. Is there anyway to deny them to the enemy? (If not, it's a feature request!). This sort of thing happened from time to time, such as when the British evacuated Boston (aka ran like little girls).

good idea, already requested in fact. We will try to do that after the ACW game release though.
