ANW= Advanced Naval Warfare
If you head to AGSI's home page at,
http://advancedgaming.biz/index.php?cevent=page.view&id=2 then you can see the different verison of computer Harpoon there are. To my understanding there are 3 major verisions of Harpoon3:
Harpoon 3- game engine 3.6 and before. This was an attempt by one of the original coders of Harpoon 2 to bring H2 up to running on a Pentium microprocessor and under Win95. The last verison of the game engine published was verison 3.6.3
Harpoon 3 Pro - one with some extra features such as adding refs/umpires, native multiplayer experience over a LAN, the ability to import GIS shapes. Coded to export an after action log with everything from the math behind sensor and weapons done to time and places when units go turn on sensor or make movement turns. This verison is only for sale to government and military officals.
Harpoon 3 ANW- Which is game engine number 3.7 and later. This is the current edition being sold by Matrix Games.
