PBEM AAR

My opponent started the PBEM. After the turn limit, I received an AAR screen showing the points and victory. I next turned and sent the file. He did not get an AAR screen. Did we do something wrong or is this normal?
Bases on. I there any way to have bases always on?
I replay the opponent's turn and have trouble seeing the units. After replay, I can turn bases on.
BTW, this is RS.

Do you have the toolbar active? I believe it appears by pressing "m" key. then click on the base to make them appear.
good luck.

Welcome to Matrix forums and thanks for your suggestion. I have no problem turning on bases during normal play. Only when resuming a PBEM and watching my opponents replay.
I am guessing you are big dawg at the blitz?

Yes I am. Hopefully that is a good thing, or at least a OK thing.
I know know what you mean. I too have that problem. You have to be quick & nimble (something I am still working towards). You have to click on the base icon on the toolbar before the replay begins. That is tough to do. I also like to see the victory level or losses before the replay to see how many I loose that turn.
Consider yourself a ninja if you can do both before the replay.
Do you play at the Blitz too?

No
I hesitate to join a club that requires ladder play. Just not my thing.

I have been a member of the Blitz since January 2001 and I must admit, the last thing I care about is my standing on the ladder. I would guess that 80% of the games I play are not logged onto the ladder, the remaining 20% logged by those who have an interest in keeping a record of games they played and keeping note of their win/loss record.
For me, the Blitz is about a large, international community of like-minded gentlemen who enjoy the same game that I do.
If you focus on the ladder, you'll be missing the point.
Take care and good luck

Junk,
I can honestly say that I have met the greatest group of guys since my partying days in college at GA. I just play against them on the computer. Please consider joining the Blitz, & I will be glad to play you in a game of your choosing.
The ladder was important to me for awhile (a long time ago), but I would gladly give it up just to play games, read the MB, & exchange emails. The win vs loose is not a big thing.
It is a super site w/ some great guys. All are welcome!
I even met one of my opponants when he traveled to the U.S.A. from Australia to attend a Vietnam vet reunion. I got a Christmas card from a LT Col (active) in the German army. I even gave travel advice to another member who was traveling through GA on vacation. There is a group of us from 6-7 states that love college football & we email each other each week after the games. Some guys post reviews of other computer games or books or movies. None of this would have happened if I had not joined The Blitz.
Jason is one of the most respected players around, but he rarely posts a game. Everyone justs begs him for his add on discs or computer advice.

Ahh, home for the weekend.
OK you pushed me off the fence. Signed up a while ago. The Vietnam tourney for WinSPMBT sounds good.
See you there.
