I made a mod too!

This was not a serious mod project, but I'd figure I should at least show it here. I asked the users of the Something Awful forums to pitch in ideas for a spaceship so that I could create it.
The result was something of a pirate assault carrier. The shape is inspired by SA's grenade logo, which should be better visible below.
To give the ship some pirate-y personality, I painted graffiti all over the standard boring hull plating. This is pretty much inspired by I-War Indie ships.
The ships main armament is a fabulous pink beam cannon. It also has lots of weak point defense minigun turrets.
Some helpful guy modelled a fighter somewhat in the shape of a bee (Just assume there is a good reason for this!). I textured it and brought it into Starshatter. They are designed to be cheap, agile and annoying.
