Can you please confirm that I'm not the only one with this problem?

It's not a problem per se... functionality exists (and works in my user created scenarios)...
The scenario briefs you're asking about have never been in the scenarios from earliest beta testing. Why they're not used is question Troutie or Gregor would have to address.

Well, it's not a big issue. I suppose I could do a bit of reasearch on my own about Gazala, but it would be nice to add the descriptions in a future patch. I understand that BF is concieved as an editor as much as a game but the 4 scenarios that are included would deserve some line of text.

On the other hand, the between turn description screens give alot of detail as to the situation and tips on what to do...very nice!

The nice thing about those descriptions (at least in the other games) was they gave you a feel for the size and scope of each scenario (and length). I had to start each scenario in turn to learn which was the "smaller" scenario and which was the "epic" scenario.

According to Gregor there is no tutorial. Shame really. The previous versions were really well done and while I think the DB series is a little easier to pick up and play than some other games, I seriously doubt I ever would have been able to get into and play these games if I didn't have the tutorial to guide me through the initial rough stage. Hopefully a tutorial can be included in a patch.
