Hey guys,
Just playing around with starshatter again. Can't dedicate to anything huge, but I'm looking to get back into the swing of things... I just spent a few hours playing with the HUD. I am so glad Milo released Starmod ^_^.

So I intended to give Starshatter a little bit of a facelift... Nothing special, just a little fun. Yay tech circles.

Actually, I made these graphics whilst listening to the music from Armored Core, a little John Digweed, and indeed the music from Homeworld. ^_^

Also notice i havent done the weapons screen quite yet, but thats next... that is, once i finish the new lens flare.

I was out of my personal computers past weekend. Anyways it looks nice, though I usually turn lens flares off. Get some missions done and I just might buy new joystick to play them [;)]

Missions for 4.5 version that is... Oh hey! Could someone update models of 4.5? And work out something for 5.0.1 so mods of older versions work on it without redesigning mods.

I'm sorry to hear of you leaving SS for a while, not that I blame you, I had to do much the same. Starmod changed all that, though ^___^...
now just to find someone willing to write a defing program....

Matti,

I'm in the process of updating my Cartel mod to 5.0.1.

From what I have seen, the original works fine in 5.0.1 except where different ships were designated in the missions. This can be discovered by checking the old missions and updating the craft information pertaining to the affected missions(s).

One should add ship textures for spectacular, bumb and illumination to get that pretty craft appearance. [;)]

Furyofaseraph, as far as deffing information is concerned, the downloadable SDK files at the Starshater site provide much of the data required. Check out this data too. http://loki.stockton.edu/~stk7284/starshatter/

Oh , not to worry, I have that page and the SDK in my favorite bar. What I am looking to do is find someone who can write a program to make defing easier - popup dialogs for componants, physics calculations, something that automatically reads the sys and weapons directory.
Just something to make things go a little faster.
