hi there!

i love the game, lots of fun!

but for me as a slow kind of player i thought that there was a pause option where one could still give orders. is there or if not would it be possible to implement this in an update?

Sorry, no pause with interactivity in any CC yet.  Yes it is on the agenda for subsequent releases.
 
If you haven't tried already, you can shange the game speed to Slow (I think it defaults to medium).  This will make everything slower in battle and therefore more time to make decisions, but after a while I would think you would find the pace too slow?  ANyway, try it if you haven't, it may help a bit?
