I have a question about my pbem files.
I currently have two pbem games going and need to figure out the best way to name/number them. Do I send just the one game file or do I have to send two files (the saved game one and then turn display etc)???
Also how do you guys number them to keep them straight? Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on what side you're playing. If you're the Japs, you MUST send two files (save game and turn replay). If you're the Allies, you don't.
As for numbering, I always try to put some space between multiple savegames, i.e. saving them several slots apart. Makes it less likely I'll send the wrong file.

If your Japanese you send the saved game file, and the combat replay, IF US just the saved game file.
On how to number several choices really. In one PBEM we always use the same slot, ours is 11, and I put the comment on the end, after download I save to 4 different slots of the last 4 days so I can look back. But the final send and save is slot 11.
In my other PBEM we rotated 4 slots, 80, 81, 82, 83 each one a successive day. Once again so se could go back.

Yep, I prefer to play this way. Especially if you have a bug or something. That way you can go back to a previous turn and hopefully it wont happen again!

You can't. Play and send the game files to one opponent at a time.

Hopefully not a dumb newbie statement. If you do not delete the e-mails would they not serve as a backup for potentially corrupted move?

Yes, but at over a megabyte each, they'll soon overload your mailbox. Most ISPs like to limit the size of your mailbox.

I must have a good one there's about 24 e-mails with save game files ( many with two files ) in my mailbox and I'm only at 3% usage.
