Summer 1939:

USSR:

Moscow is proud to announce that the peaceloving USSR as accepted the Poland demand to protect her citizens from Germany Imperialism. We also accepted the Baltic States referendum to be part of our glorious nation.

China:

After inflicting numerous losses to the IJA, the valiant Chinese army decided to operate a strategic redeployment from it's own will. [8|]

Turn to be send to Tica once I got the email address.

Churchill thumps Chamberlain over the head with a (mostly-empty) whiskey bottle and assumes power earlier than one might expect. Inspired Royal Navy commanders respond by sinking the veteran German U-boat. Historians will later claim this was the result of a flukey auto-hit, but real Englishmen everywhere know different.

Under British leadership the French also take aggressive action, launching a pre-emptive airstrike on German air bases. The French TAC and FTR are traded for a German HVY and FTR.

Turn forwarded to Rafael.

Germany Fa'39

Aftersome air raid problems the wermacht has redeployed in order to disuade France from bombing german soil in the future.
Instructions have been given to avoid the steal of technology predictably by soviet spies, like it has happen to Japan. Sigint will be restored.

Turn Fall 1939:

The peaceloving workers paradise is... waiting now for the GE storm.

China:

Our spies have managed to uncover a very sneaky Japanese troops deployment. [:-] Now our intelligence is convinced it's to attack Mongolia again [&o]

W. Allies Fall 1939
Very little to report on the Western Front. Churchill bristles at the lack of offensive options. France hunkers down in the Maginot line in anticipation of a frontal assault. If not, the French might actually see the beginning of Spring. I'm looking forward to the US starting production next turn.

Germany Wi40

The Low Countries had to be taken after refusal to let german troops through its territory. Their fleet sunk, German loses were low.
Doenitz has deployed his uboat fleet. Will see what happens, a rather dangerous move.

Japan way to say we hit them hard [8D]

Still railways are not the best way to travel for the moment in China. Numerous civilians loss reported but Japan CAGS got a cheap way to train to Elite or Veteran status.

W. Allies Winter 1940

The German move into the Low Countries spells doom for France, but I'm happy to have gained a turn of research from the French factories before they go up in flames.

Rafael sent his u-boats into the Atlantic looking for trouble and the Royal Navy obliges by sinking another one in the Bay of Biscay. Two down and two to go. So far the submarine war has been quite manageable.

I forgot to take a screen shot but there's nothing of note to show. The Allies reinforce the Med in anticipation of Italy joining the Axis once Paris falls.

Germany Sp 40

As planed France has fallen, casualties were light, OKW decided to attack the Maginot line and launch the HB on an air to ship mission, unfortunately the destroyer escort eluded the bombing, the merchants were not so lucky.
Italy will join soon...

Spring '40, Western Allies

France falls, predictably, with minimal German losses. England now prepares for the Mediterranean campaign. Malta is heavily fortified in an attempt to slow down any Axis moves toward Cairo. Of course we can't stop them entirely, but with Italy only coming in in the Summer of 1940 the delay may be enough to throw off the Barbarossa timetable (or allow us to hold if the Germans head to the Polish and Rumanian borders). Kudos to my Russian ally for suggesting this move.

Turn to Rafael. I took a screenshot of the fall of France, but as Rafael has already posted it there seems little point.

German turn Su40

Mussolini has requested air support from Germany and 2nd Luftflotte has been deployed in S. Italy, nonetheless the italian airforce has performed outstandingly destroying those spitfires based on Malta, however we fear reinforcements might be on their way.

A seawolf had real bad luck and was rammed by a Merchant sinking within seconds, on the other hand bombers from 3rd Luftflote reduced to ashes factories in Glasgow, england factories next.
