This forum is the spot to get and give support to your fellow gamers. This is NOT an official game support conference but a place for general tech support. All questions are welcomed, basic, advanced, software or hardware. If you are looking for drivers etc check out Tech Magic at http://techmagic.thegamers.net/

Mail to the support email has been predominantly "newbie" questions like about unzipping things, or "help the game isn't working on my system".

The former can often be answered faster by "whoever sees it first" and once you post it here all can see vice 17 emails asking the same question:-)

The latter require someone with the same sort of setup, for example today I got a person with 3 (three) video cards asking why the game crashed...It may have nothing to do with the video cards, but then again without a similar machine, I can't tell.

So help us out with your expertise!

Thanks!

Sorry, but I cannot get any machine I have access to to show this problem. I have tried setting up a Windows shortcut and running in a window - it overrides that setting and runs full screen anyway. I have tried changing my screen resolution up and down - it always runs full screen at the same size no matter what setting I give it. Maybe it is your video card - what do you use.

The one thing this reminds me of is playing Civ 2 - many times at the start of a save game if I go into the city screen it comes up tiny with a huge amount of black around it, just like you describe. However, that game has buttons for growing and shrinking the window display, and clicking on the maximize button brings the city screen back up to the full window size for the balance of that session of the game.

I don't know if the problems are related, but they may be. Sorry I can't help more.
