I played PacWar a lot in Germany and everything was fine there. Migrated to the USA some weeks ago, bought a computer there for the sole purpose of playing PacWar, installed the game and ended up with graphic errors, i.e. every number except "0" and all spaces (space bar) are unreadable, just show odd pixel swirls (installed both my "20 Wargames"-CD and the Underdog-Copy, with and without updates like new aircraft icons and stuff [to whom it may concern: thanks for all this]). Same with the new War in Russia.
Can still play the game, but have no idea about losses, Airgroup strengths, ship damage, airfield sizes, replacements or even the date. A bit too much fog-of-war for my taste.
Have a 500something Pentium with Win 98. Any suggestions?

P.S.: Just discovered the new version was released sometime between now and yesterday. Still downloading it, so don't know if this version works well with my crate. Will eventually delete this post if everything turns out fine.

P.P.S.: Same errors with new PacWar.
