it's possible to add more units like:

mine layer ships (e. g. to mine the north sea)
mine layer units for land
anti-mine units land/sea
really transport ships for units (load/unload units)
jet fighter
german v-1 rockets
german v-2 rockets
japanese kamikaze submarines
japanese ohka (baka) kamikaze (manned flying bombs)
transport vehicles for infantry units

and to add the following:

japanese biological weapons for use in china
japanese chemical weapons for use in china
self building of "defense lines" with bunker, forts, barbed wire, trenches, mines etc. like the atlantic wall or maginot line
a really atomic bomb for use, with explosion and effects, player can decide where the bomb was used
all countries and colonies
monthly turns

Seems to me you want a new game. World In Flames is being developped by Matrix as well and this would be what you are looking for.

Agree with the principle (minelaying ships especially), but not with the explosions/gass weapons... this is not that kind of game .
And Polonthi has a point there too...
