I just installed the game and the three patches and when I start the game I get a run time error 91 mess

Only the most recent patch need be applied (admittedly, the others should be taken down because they're not required).

This problem sometimes arises if the installation process fails or the customer 'unchecked' either option on the last screen of the installation dialog. In short, not all the files were installed.

I would recommend uninstalling the game and deleting the created folder. Then install the game and only apply the most recent patch (1.3.149). When promoted to install additional files or check direct x, ensure both are checked.
