Playing a game last night, US rules. Computer has 3rd down, runs and picks up a first. However there was a holding call. Now I was given the option to accept and let them have 1 & 13, or decline and have 1 & 10. [:-] Now appearantely the hold must have taken place three yards from the line to gain, so what should have happened was accept the penalty forcing the computer to replay the down with 13 yards to go. Anways....just wanted to let yall know.
Besides, as a football official, I want to make sure yall have us making the right calls [;)][:D]

So, the Offense was 3rd & 3, the Offense was holding, and you were on Defense! Choice is accept the penalty, making it 3rd & 13, or decline, making it 1st & 10. I do not see where it makes a difference where the holding occurred! For the result you state, Offensive Holding, you had to be 3rd & 3 starting the play! [8|]

No it was longer than 3rd & 3 on the first play. Holding is enforced from the spot of the foul, and that looks like it was correct.
The problem was it should not have been 1st down after the hold.

If the holding foul is committed beyond the line of scrimmage, the penalty is enforced from the spot of the foul.

On all offensive fouls committed behind the line of scrimmage (except in the end zone), the penalty is enforced from the previous spot.

If the offensive foul is committed in the end zone, it is a safety.

Yes, the choices should be 3rd and 13 or 1st and 10. I'll have to check, as this may already be reported and squashed.
