Does the error message say anything about the failure? Any suspects? Having problems with anything else?
I don't know why Matrix has to bloat these games with unnecessary junk, including a Windows install package for a DOS game. Just stick the basic program in a zip file and put that out for download.

I have had athe same blue screen flicker problem as well, ever since i got a new machine last august! and unfortunately i havn't been able to fix it at all, nor have there been any posts that have helped either.
current config is p733 128meg ram voodoo2 card.
and advice would be very welcome as i'm dying to get to grips with WIR ..
I live in anticipation

Rob,
If you were having problems running the install itself for WIR, then check out the zip download that you can unzip and install yourself. Ed asked for this and Matrix put it out there. If the problem is with the game itself, this won't help, but it should eliminate install problems.

After much thinking I had an brain storm and started to shut down all the programs that were running. By clicking Ctrl+Alt+Delete and leaving only the ones that you need which are explorer and sytray. Then I tried to install the games and both of them installed just fine. Somthing was conflicting and would not let them install. I have a HP Pavillion 700Mhz 64Megs WinMe. Just in case u need to know. Hope this helps you guys. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
