More CE Addins

A few re-worked addins and since Spring Training is upon us in real life, a new addin for that area as well. Enjoy!

1) AllStars - A fix; had a few players who wouold show up twice on list.
2) CareerMinors - A re-write of previous addin.
3) MileStones - added support for Longest Consecutive Hitting Streaks. {see note at bottom}
4) Errors Current/Historical - A re-write of previous addin.
5) Spring Triaining - Top spring training performances from the most recently completed spring training. Stats, Ratings, Player Demography, and current player status (Majors, AAA, AA, A, Free Agent) and Rookie designation if applicable.

Download here: {See above message thread for all the latest updates in one zip file}

Unzip the contents of the zip file to the following directory:
c:\Matrix Games\Pure Sim Baseball 2007\mods\AddIns\VB6

The addins will then be available when you start PureSim and select the ADDINS button at the bottom of
your association menu.

Note: You must have PureSim 2007 Community Edition for these addins to work.

Note2: In order to find your associations Hitting Streak records, the addin searches the database of all past articles that have appeared in PSPN. The only time that I am aware of that the name of the player who set/tied the record appearing anywhere, is in the next issue of PSPN following the record being set/tied. I am *reasonably* sure that if you have your PSPN set to build at least once every two weeks, the addin will find those players.

Thanks for doing these CD.
They really add alot to my leagues.

If I may make a request?

I always enjoy looking at the top 25 minor league batting prospects to see where my guys are.
Is there a way to do a top 25 pitching prospects?

Thanks again
Chris

You bet. I'll add that to the sample addin that comes with PureSim and that way you can look at batters/pitchers in one view.

That's great, CrashD. To see the top pitching prospects added in is something many of us have wanted. [&o]

Just now finished re-writing the code for the hitters and got that to working. Will begin coding for adding pitchers tomorrow night. Should have this addin (and the last of my older addins updated) ready to post for download Friday-ish or Saturday-ish. LOL. You can tell I'm no fan of deadlines either. [:D]

Great work, I love it. I was wondering though if a milestone entry for 500 homeruns could be added? Or if an entry for gold gloves could be added to the awards add-in? Thanks for all your work

Hey Crash? I just installed your add-ins and I received an interesting error. Please observe:

The association is called "The National Hardball Association", so that part is correct, but it's not in the directory the error is stating and it never has been. There's no server to connect to either; I'm not sure what that's referring to. Any ideas on how to fix?

I believe thats why.
Addin is expecting to find PureSim installed in default directory of   C:\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2007\................

Ever since I've had a computer, I've always had the habit of creating a C:\GAMES directory and placing them all there. Is there a way to "redirect" the add-in to the directory where Puresim was installed? Or, perhaps, is there a way to have the add-ins look in the registry (or wherever Windows would record the location of Puresim's installation) and then run it from there? All other add-ins seem to do something like this (or if they're not doing actually this, they're at least not having the same problem.

Again, note how these questions are coming from a person not versed in programming lore; so I apologize in advance for asking questions that are either foolishly stupid or foolishly impossible.

I've added the 500 HR milestone to the addin. Haven't released the update yet. Testing it.

As for Most Gold Gloves and PureSluggers, will look into adding it to Awards addin.

Awesome! In Crash's 'milestones' add-in you can quickly scroll down to see who holds the current longest hitting streak record (also shows former record holders).
