Looking to try any scenerio for the Forge of Freedom game. Ive read the rules and tried a few turns at the basic level so I am still fairly new at the game. I do have experience playing other wargames being a member of the various wargame clubs that play the HPS and former Talonsoft line of games. I could probobly handle about 3-5 turns a week. Sometimes more. kirk

Please be aware that there is a chance that the gold version of this patch might not be compatible with save files started under public beta. That would only happen if something is discovered that requires changing the file structures. So, starting a PBEM game now would be a risk -- but with that said, the game is working quite well at the strategic level, so you could certainly begin a PBEM game now and only install the gold patch after finishing your game. I just thought I should advise you and others of this consideration.


EDIT: I should add that it would actually be a very good thing for the beta patch to get more testing in PBEM -- I just don't want anyone disappointed if they begin a game that they can't finish once they install the gold patch.
