Cold War turned to hot - Another mod?

Is there anyone out there preparing or willing to make another Cold War mod (more modern, say in the 1980s)? I spent two whole months to make one of those back in World At War, but it wasn't easy, since there was no mechanism to host such a senario (AI for USSR vs Allies, icons, politics, etc). Therefore I never managed to finish it. Now that the mechanism exists, I have a demanding job and can't devote time to it [:(] So, anyone else?

I had in mind a collision, that would take the form of a war with conventional weapons, with both sides refraining from using nukes. As you correctly imply, nukes would be a factor that would ruin the strategy of the game, and would make it un-mod-able [;)] But then again, that's the case for the current "East vs West" senario in WAWAWD. The US could use nukes against USSR for instance, especially after the WW2, when they were the only world power possessing them. The senario doesn't include nukes though (apart from the extra effect of pop and factory losses).

The EvW scenario in AWD seems OK as far as nukes are concerned. The USA __can__ use them. The effects in the game seem reasonable, given the limitations on yield, production and delivery that existed at the time.

It just seems like a Hot War without at least the threat of Nukes would miss a huge part of it. And by the 70's the limitations on yield, prodution and delivery were very different.
