I am going to try this revised version of "The Victors" as the French....I will at times have US/UK/Canadian, and German allies fighting the soviets as they have been placed in the game as support units.
A much shorter campaign than attempting "Long Long Road"
I will be using Enhanced DVRN withh all the "known Errors" corrections applied.

Very Small Deploy area..you cannot really see the flags but I cannot deploy but a few hexes forward in this area.

I also was given some Rangers and have sent them to infiltrate the Soviet Vhex near the Elbe river, (see above pictures)

Altho I lost a tank, this is why i much prefer these type campaigns over the standard "long Campaign"

Soviets airstrike, fortunately this one was shot down.

This airstrike gets thru and attacks one of my tanks, but does little damage

Turn 2:
Some of my infantry has rushed ahead to the town west of the Elbe river and set up ambush positions.
Soviet forces are spotted heading our way and an airstirke is called in...
In the south 2 columns advance with no enmy spotted as of yet..

How about a little napalm there comrade!!!

ARRRG
Soviet units appearing evrywhere now, I have seen T34/85s, T34.76s Captured Panzer Mk IVs, Captured panthers, SU 100s, BT 7s, I have seen trucls dropping off ATGs and Infantry...
my southern force was hit by evrything from mortars, 76mm FGs, 152mm FHs and Katushya rockets. As if that werent enough then an airstrike hit them!!
I am in for one hell of a fight.
