I've had to reinstall SPWaW from my Dec. 2000 Computer Gaming World disk, and I've installed ver. 4.0. Is there anywhere I can update from 4.0 without having to download the whole thing? (which will take a month).

Unfortunately, for the amount of downloading you'd have to do to go from 4.0-4.5, 4.5-5.1, 5.1-5.2, 5.2-5.3 your better off downloading the full version of 5.1 and going from there. The update from 4.5-5.1 was 162mb by itself. The problem is I can't find any of the old sites that even have the 4.0-4.5 update still on there servers, they all start at 4.5. You can go to the SPWAW forum and some gamers there have and will burn copies of full versions for those less fortunate.
