DEL was Making an attack to Finland.....

German army could not provide help?B[:(]

OK, to clarify.

I held Leningrad through the winter of 1941, and during summer 42 launched an attack north. Once I'd broken the first line of Finns with shock armies and most of my air force and lots of attrition attacks, I had tank armies swarm through the north and surround the Finns, eventually breaking in to Helsinki from the north. There were about 5 Finnish armies left and the HQ at the time I took Helsinki.

(a) I don't think there's any way to stop this. The Germans can't put units in Finland, correct?
(b) fengjian based a lot of air force in Mannerheim's Finnish HQ. He said that this was about half of his fighter force. When the Finns surrendered after the fall of Helsinki, the HQ vanished along with the air units. They don't appear to have re-appeared in OKH or OKW. Will they ever come back? Or will they just dissolve into the Finnish HQ, never to be seen again and soaking up reinforcements?

to a) As long as the Finns are holding Helsinki you can transfer Divisions per rail order (that means shipping)

to b) The german Groups will should come back after 3 or 4 turns in Berlin with their last strength . The Finnish are lost. When the Germans are able to recapture Finnland, they can place the finnish HQ again, but the finnish units are lost.
