This is mainly for proposes of WITM since italians used S-81 to bombing at start of war and S-82 to long range bombing against Bahrain and Gibraltar. What are the consequences of changing transports to bombers do they loose any transport capability? Any other consequence implication?

They lose the ability to transport troops. There is only one exception - and you will find it in RHS. A flying boat classified as a patrol plane can transport troops and supplies AND it can bomb - but only at night. IF you give it NO bombs - it then is not worth much as a bomber (but it will drop a bomb if on a patrol mission rarely - simulating the "kick one out the door" tactic IRL). Notably Empire Flying Boats were used in patrol missions, but otherwise were transport flying boats of import.

It takes a code change to create a transport bomber - and if it happens the Li-2 (Soviet DC-3) would be a candidate.

A rather clever idea suggested by Nemo was to create multiple versions of the same aircraft - for your consideration.

Hmm already  tought about it but i am not sure about slots. How many airplane slots have the Axis?
