Is this getting released today the 15th, if so I want it now please let me give you the money.

Where are you seeing this? All indications are that it was pushed to 5/1.

The release date on the Matrix site has come up the 15th where as it had none before. The 15th is today and it will be the 15th for a full 24 hours, that give's them loads of time to sell it to us.

We need some official conformation.[8|]

It's listed as 15/4 in the 'Games' section of the Matrix website, and on the UFO:ET page.

My theory: The game was never scheduled to be on store shelves this week.. The only reason CC posted the the date for the 15th was because they were planning on letting Matrix released the digital distribution copy before Tri Synergy even got done packaging. Tri Synergy probably said they can't do it, because it would totally screw them over on sales on the physical copies. Let's face it, the vast majority of us who have been waiting on this game would have bought it from Matrix instead of waiting for it to hit shelves.

Valve had a similar situation when Half-Life 2 first launched....Valve wasn't allowed to send the remaining portion of the game to players even though Steam was all ready to go... VU threatened to sue them if it was released before the *official* release date to ensure the boxes would be on shelves. If they didn't do this, they would have lost at *least* 5000 sales on their part...Nobody wanted to wait the extra week, but we had to.

Overall, I seriously doubt it's going to be released today.... The best we can hope for is a demo today or just within the next few days.

Huh, sho nuff. Maybe I'll have a happy surprise when I wake up tomorrow morning... but I'm not expecting it.

It does make sense.But almost every game i bought,that i can think of,came out between a tuesday and a friday.From going to their site though it looks like everything is put off till the 1st.It's hard to tell though,the general feeling over there seems to be that they are not as talkative on their english forum.

Seeing there's nobody official around I would say they where all still in bed, funny I always thought Matrix was English, but i have now been informed they are US.

I Hope the download does come out early, that way I can get feedback if it's any good or anything close to X-com or not. Not to get joy out of anyone else's misery but if it stinks it gives me time to cancel my box order...[:D]. So please be my pre-release testers [;)]

Are you speculating, or did you see that somewhere?

I'm just spiflicating Sage, don't really know whats going on.

As I havent seen anyone official posting today could mean they are all off work so we wont get any joy until tomorrow.

There was a little delay from the developers getting the final Gold Master.  So we are going to be about two weeks late.  Sorry for not posting this sooner.  We are having a pretty big storm coming through and I forgot to update the forum.
