Super Six Playoffs
Philadelphia – 13 (Ashaf 7 of 11 fro 172 td)
Phoenix - 30 (Bolles 10 of 19 309 3 tds)
Boston – 24 (Margaitis 21 rushes 92 yards)
Chicago – 13 (Richey 2 rec 101 td)
The top two seeds fall! Bolles continues his exceptional play for Phoenix and may have sown up the Super Six MVP trophy as he has yet to throw an interception this season and has guided his team into the Cup Championship.
CHICAGO POST GAME
Chicago loses its second game in a row and must now plan for next season. “I’m incredibly disappointed,” remarked Owner Stephen Weil, “I really expected to host and win the inaugural championship.”
“Our offense became too predictable,” said WR O’Clair after the game, “I was double teamed in the final two weeks. Teams just figured us out.”
“We had the second best scoring offense, the leagues top rusher (Margaitis) and myself, so no, I’m not surprised we’re in the Cup game,” said Boston QB Fennig, “and I expect to win next week!”
PHOENIX POST GAME
“When “Yetch” (QB Eytcheson) went down with the injury I knew instantly we had ‘em,” barked Bolles over the noise of an elated Phoenix locker room, “don’t get me wrong that kid Ashaf played well but “Yetch” may be the leagues best.”
“We just couldn’t rattle him (Bolles),” lamented Enomoto, “I just wanted one clean shot at him but couldn’t get it.”
“The Sharay thing has kinda bugged us all season…I’m not saying that distracted us but our Offense has never quite worked out,” said Philly RB Bayliff.
