In my FITE game at turn 32 get news report of storms and rail reduced 100. At first while taking my german turn I found that moves into enemy zones of control or enemy controlled hexes was blocked.Combat also blocked. OK so far as this is mud effects. I wernt back after saving to finish the turn and find these prior blocked(illegal) moves are no longer blocked and I could do them if I wanted. I want to play and either win or lose within the rules so whats up and what can I do? Appreciate any help from the FITE community on this.

Just move your stuff pretending that you're still blocked.  And on a side note maybe you should send a save file to Ralph so he can diagnose the problemo.

Can you please include a start and end hex-location that you think should be illegal?

Thanks,
Ralph

Enter hexs that are still enemy controlled. That is have never been entered before by a friendly unit or to enter enemy zone of control(adjacent hex to enemy unit) or to attack enemy units.

I'm not sure what happened there. Do you have a save game where you weren't able to move? The house rules are house rules, because they aren't enforceable by the computer. I'm not sure why you weren't able to move, but later were able to move.

Thanks,
Ralph

Bibbo,

I'm not quite sure what you are claiming is happening here. First off, is there is a cease-fire event that the designers are using for enforcing a prohibition of attacks or movement into enemy territory? If so, then are you claiming that at one point within a specific turn you are indeed blocked from attacking or entering enemy controlled hexes, yet at another point within the same turn, you can move into or attack enemy controlled hexes?

As Ralph stated, please try to provide a save file and instructions that demonstrate how to duplicate this behavior.

Its all a bit confusing. I opened the turn just to kinda take a look at the layout after the Russian move. I was going to move a couple of units before closing again and leaving for work. I noted that some moves seem blocked and just "assumed" it was normal due to the mud. I moved nothing and later in the day when I reopened I was able to move anywhere. Where can I find the house rules? Can air fly missions and can friendly rail be repaired? There is presently no problem as I will just follow the house rule. Is russian movement similarily affected?[:)][:)]

Well, it looks like you lodaed up the turn, and the Cease-Fire event fired. THen you loaded it up again and the cease-fire event didn't fire. Eh?

It appears to me there are two issues. one house rules.. those are Suggested in the notes.. to which there are two notes.. one in the right side button panel.. and another in the game launch panel, both well worth reading. And not intirely accurate!

Secondly you can move  repair and do most on the internal moves for either side during cease fire. What is screwy is the last person to cross water blocks it for the other, and swamps in your area you may not have crossed by land, and thus as German they are still "enemy" held, cannot now be flown over by planes. Air arttacks do not work, BUT interdiction and AIR superiority do, only in abstraction, ie if you move your troops and the enemy commits a lot of air to interdiction expect, expecially later in the war to see your unit move and get hit.
