Is it likely that you will ever (future patches) be able to select and ENTIRE stack of units and move them simultaneously, like in BiN or BiI ? Or is this a game feature that was decided on some time ago for some reason .....

This was a deliberate decision based on the more elaborate movement rules in BF.
