HELP; had recently purchased and successfully downloaded game and all worked fine. When I went to open the game today and hit play I received the border to the next screen but the inside (basically the whole screen) was black and mouse pointer wasn't visible in the black are.
Did another install and the install took my password but when I went to open the game I receive a message about password error #300 and advised to contact Matrix tech support. Previos problem with a download on another game last year tech support never responded
Can anyone please help??????

Hi,
Please try
support@matrixgames.com for this. Make sure your subject line is fairly specific and contains something like "TOAW III installation problem" so that it doesn't get eaten by Matrix's ever eager spam filter. Make sure you let them know whether you had installed any of the patches, and specifics about your system. Let me know here how it turns out, or if there is no reply.

Thank you for the reply; sorry about the posting error. Yes, I have installed both patches. I had not added or chaged anything to my computer. Game was running/loading fine prior to the problem.

Me again; misread your message; did ATTEMPT to send message to Matrix support however receieved message on first two attmpts that message was not delivered. Looks like the 3rd try may have worked.
Last time I tryed Matrix support i NEVER received any reply. A download would not install. Only after many long distance calls did I finally get someone to call. Couldn't find my forum information to log in at that time.
Appreciate your reply and help; will keep you posted.
Thanks

I suggest to completely uninstall TOW3. Backup your savegames and custom scenarios etc. before you do so.
1. Use the provided uninstaller / or uninstall from the Windows "Add or Remove Programs" tool
2. Check if the uninstall was complete by nrowsing to the former installation directory of TOAW3. If the directory still exists manually delete the installation folder of TOAW3.
3. Hit "START -> Run..." In the dialog type regedit and click "Okay". The registry editor will come up.
4. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Matrix Games in the registry editor
5. Check if there still is an directory called "The Operational Art of War III". If yes, delete it. If not close the registry editor. Make 100% sure you ONLY delete the directory called "The Operational Art of War III".
6. Reboot and reinstall, make sure you have virus scanners or other security software turned off during the installation. They can interfere with installers.
