I get the pixel shader error. But when I use the 3D Analyer tool instead get the following error:

There is and error with your serial number as entered:
please contact support @trysynergy.com for assistance.
Error Code: 0

Somebody help!!!
I still have not gotten the game to run. I already read all the threads and I have not found a fix for this!!!

My video card is nvidea Gforce 4. 64MB

I also tried re-installing so I could re-enter the serial but that did not work.

This is from a another customer:
Solution is to use an older version of 3DAnalyzer.

I got the game working on 3DAnalyzer 2.26 with a 64 MB Intel Integrated 82852/82855 graphics, 1.50 Ghz, 512 MB of RAM. It runs fine, just a little slow after a while (due to badly optimized code).

Seems that this works. Sadly we can not provide support for 3rd party tools that alter the EXE. Apparently 3D Analyzer seems to fiddle with programm in a way that makes the serial number check not working all the time.

The serial number error comes from choosing "ufo_et.exe" as the program for 3d analyze to run. You need to choose the autorun.exe for 3danalyze to run. this doesn't work with version 2.36. ufo_et is apparently the non-matrix version of the game and the serial number we have doesn't work with it. The autorun is what the shortcut the install program makes on your desktop links to. It has the right coding I guess for the matrix serial number you have to work.
If this isn't clear let me know, maybe I can re-word it.

Ok, I got past the error, but I still can't get the game to run. I've gone thru and tried a bunch of different settings, but what happens is the following: When I hit "run" on the 3D Analyze, it opens the menu, but the hour glass shows that the 3D Analyze is still running. If I try to click the menu to start the game, the menu doesn't respond. Can you help me out with the settings to get it rolling?

I know you guys at Matrix can't help with the 3rd party program, but isn't there something you can do for those of use who would like to play the game that we purchased without having to jump thru all these hoops? I've been banging my head on this for almost a month and it turns out that it is some little security routine that you guys know about. How about a patch, boys?

Thanks!
