I bought the game through Matrix Games, and for some reason I thought I was supposed to get an email with my serial key and order info. I never did.

Its not a big concern, since I've got the key and EXE safely tucked away, but was I actually supposed to get one?

Yes you should have, check to make sure it wasnt considered spam.
