I have the same problem with running 5.1 version as some others do. The game was working great then part way through a scenario the buttons disappear and there is no way to abort the game without turning the power off. Does anyone have a solution? I uninstalled the game and re-installed that did not seem to help.

AS previously stated, this is a graphics driver/DIrectx/vid card problem.
Would all there people suffering this problem post their comper type (make, CPU, clock, RAM, BIOS), vid card, driver source and version and DX version?
The only way to solve problems like this that are spceific to a specific configuration, is to have all the folks experienceing the problem to post thier componans and drivers, and see if there is a common connection.
Bugs that affect everyone are fairly easy to find, but there is no way to fix bugs that don't occur on a testers computer.
