I made my first laser pistol but it seems to require ammo. I wasn't given a research choice for batteries or ammo. In the old X-com, the best feature of the laser pistol was the unlimited shots. I'm using Sage's mod BTW.

Yeah, when you research a weapon, you dont need to research ammo for it. That was one of the dumber things about the original. What researchers would develop a weapon WITHOUT developing ammo for it at the same time........ How would they know that the weapon worked?
