Has anyone noticed

That sometimes when the ground is littered with little white dots and you save the game because its 2 in the morning and you cant keep your bloodshot eyes open, the next day when you load your save point, they all mysteriously disappear. Its happened to me 3 times so far, very irritating, especially when you are low on cash and you have to wait a week for a new target to rear its ugly head. [:@]
