Does anybody know what is the best rating for each position.
Should i worry about "DIS" for a WR with great hands. or should "HND" be higher than "CAT"
What about a OL a guy that will never make the stats should he have great "STR" and nothing else matters or do i need STR,DIS and BLK to have a great front line.
on a QB does a PPR mean a thing for a guy with great PSS,PSA
any help would be great
Thanks

I usually look at the following
WR Catch
RB Speed
QB Pass Accuracy
K Kick Strength
OL Block
DL Block Avoidance
LB Strength Speed
DB Coverage
P Kick Strength
TE/SB Catch
And really, thats it. I design my plays around the players main rating. I dont worry about speed WRs, I just need them to catch. My QB needs to be accurate, my RB fast, and my DBs need to cover etc.
I know that there is more to it than that, and other ratings do play into it, but I havent needed to do more than the above.
One thing that I think plays into it is the constants.dat The default setting for the passing game make completion % very high. There may be other setings in there as well that need to be looked at, blocking, coverage etc. Im thinking the Constants settings and even player rating ranges might need looking at.
I guess what im getting at is that with the default settings I am finding it fairly easy to field a very good team just looking at the players with the ratings above.

I should say, that I play 8Man football more than anything else, so its easier to get away with the above way of doing things. But, I do play 11 man some, and seem to have as much success there also. But then again, the playbooks being used also factor in. I lose more at 11 man.
