Hello all, I still don't know what is wrong with this game. The numbers still don't show up, they look like black squares. The only number that does show up is the 0. It's making it hard to play because I can't tell how many of anything I have,( supply, forces, aircraft, airfields, supply, ect..ect..).
i know I would really love this game, only if I can get it to work right, so if anyone out there would help me get it to work correctly, I would be forever grateful. Without the info that the numbers tell you while playing, I keep getting killed by the enemy force,(Japan). PLEASE SOMEONE, ANYONE WHO MIGHT KNOW WHAT'S WRONG, POST ANSWER HERE, I'LL BE CHECKING EVERY DAY, Thank you

thanks Chief, I did go to the pacific forum and found that I had vers. 2.2, and I installed the newer 2.3 vers. But the numbers still refuse to show up, I think this my be a DOS problem, but still not sure. I have reloaded several timed, and defraged my pc more than once, also ran scan disk. I've checked my PAC War file and see the text files, it should work, but still refuses to bring up the numbers, all but 0, they work( though that don't help me much) I have a windows ME pc , 256 RAM, 1.1 GHZ. AMD Atholon, whith a TNT M64 Prographics card, and still the numbers don't want to come up. this is really a pain( got my tail waxed playing the AI, and using the help setting too ).i'll keep checking back here until i get this thing running correctly, then i can start doing AAR's for everybody to enjoy. that's when I'm not flying on-line with my Combat Flight Simulator 2 Sqdn that I belong to. Again thanks for trying, if you get anymore ideas, plerase don't delay, post it so i can really get to the bussiness of making those AI guys pay for embarassing my so bad.

Gizz: Just a thought, I don't play Pacific only SPWAW, but did you try adjusting preferences, that's what we do. Just an idea. Otherwise keep posting where you did and I'll venture someone will give you an answer. Good Hunting
